Pretty Damn Funny

Greatest Moment of My Life

It's pretty out of control that a meeting like that has reached the far corners of the internet. I'm the only one that got a game signed by him at that lecture, so this had to be about me. Because right after I did it, I called up my brother and told him about it, and, well, I pretty much said that.

Someone commented on the joystiq website that said I live a boring life if meeting Miyamoto was the greatest moment of my life. That guy can suck it for the rest of his life. When you meet the man that is the reason you're in the industry you're in, then you're going to say it was one of the greatest moments of your life. I don't give a crap who you are.

The guy who said that is probably from the press. Just ignore him.

The only things game critics are good at are begging, bitching, and putting down games and other gamers. They can never become real designers, because whenever a critic sees a design issue, they point at the problem and brag like they discovered a hidden treasure, and that's it. When a designer see a problem with the game's design, instead of meaningless rants, they think of ways to solve it and make the game better.

Thus, critics go on downward spirals along with their negative comments until they hit rock bottom. So the best thing to do is to just sit tight on the top and laugh at them.

I know what you mean man. Its pretty lame putting you down like that. Only criticism I can give you- is that, once you got that signed Zelda game, you should have put it over your head by your hands and whistled the "new-item-found-tune" from Zelda.
